The following fragment is from one of the anonymous reviews: "General Comments:
A quality paper that shows that, yes, even universities can do real applications
simultaneously with technology research if they work closely with users."
2002 Centennial Coin awarded by General Robert Ivany, the Commandant of the US Army War College. On May 22nd 2002, Major General Robert R. Ivany, the Commandant of the US Army War College, attended the after action review for the “Case Studies in Center of Gravity Analysis” course, where the Disciple-COG system was used as a learning assistant by the students, helping them to develop their Center of Gravity Analysis project.
2002 Outstanding Graduate Student in Information Technology Award presented by Knowledge Consulting Group during Fourth Annual Banquet of the School of Information Technology and Engineering, George Mason University.
In March 2002 Major General Robert R. Ivany, the Commandant of the US Army War College, awarded this certificate for the exceptional contributions to the successful execution of Elective Course 319jw from Winter 2002 session.
Certificate of Appreciation awarded by Prof. Douglas Campbell, Director of the Center for Strategic Leadership of the US Army War College. “For exceptional contribution to the United States Army War College during the academic year 2000-2001. Your work on the Disciple-COG research project was instrumental to the development of learning agents for center of gravity determination. Your excellent technical work was a significant contribution to agent development, and your tireless support to the Artificial Intelligence course was key to the smooth integration of that agent technology into the War College curriculum. Your effort and attention to detail are deeply appreciated and reflect great credit upon yourself and George Mason University.”
I received a fellowship award from George Mason University, School of Information Technology and Engineering based on the activity performed and the successes obtained by the laboratory during 1997-1998.
